European Coalition on Homeopathic & Anthroposophic Medicinal Products

Pharmapolitical Affairs

This working group monitors and investigates the consequences of the current legal situation and its modifications for homeopathic and anthroposophic medicinal products in the EU and in individual EU Member States. Proposals for the EU Directives are developed and a follow-up of the implementation of the EU legislation into the legislation of Member States has been set up in order to assist ECHAMP members in developing their activities in an adequate legal context, either European or national. Through the years a strong network of contacts has been built. This includes national and European experts and decision makers in the field of legislation as well as in the field of regulatory affairs. A good information policy and constructive exchange are essential to the work to improve the legal situation of homeopathic and anthroposophic medicinal products. This work is done in close co-operation with Christine Marking, ECHAMP’s Public Affairs Consultant and other experts who participate in the activities of this working group.
