New publication: CAM 2020 – sustainable healthcare in Europe

A new publication from EUROCAM, ‘CAM 2020: The contribution of Complementary and Alternative Medicine to sustainable healthcare in Europe,’ provides information about Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) in the EU. It scopes current practice and availability as well as the potential future role of CAM across the EU. It includes a chapter on the availability of CAM medicinal products. It also highlights a number of priority policy action areas to enable CAM to fulfil its significant potential to contribute to the healthcare of citizens throughout the EU, finishing with a call to action to the EU institutions and Member States.
EUROCAM is the network of European CAM patients’ organisations, medical doctors practising CAM and trained CAM practitioners. It is aimed at promoting the contribution of CAM to better health in Europe.
